Vodafone: “Feel Closer to the Lions” - 60s

Covid-19 and accompanying travel restrictions mean fans are further from the British & Irish Lions than ever before. Thus, team sponsors Vodafone compromise with this hurly-burly commercial, wherein the likes of Maro Itoje, Alun Wyn Jones, and Tadh Furlong apply their skills to other, less demanding situations.

Scored by a cover of 'Get Ready' by The Temptations, itís a breezy effort that includes a pleasing amount of damage to garden fences and brick walls. This may be the sturdiest cast director Brent Harris has worked with, and he makes the most of it across 60". Shame injury has restricted Jones to just seven minutes against Japan and one catch of a wedding bouquet.
