Fans of David Lowery’s ‘A Ghost Story’ will appreciate this jaunty Travis promo, which sees frontman Fran Healy turn director and animator to boot. The boiler-suited Healy’s multitasking pays off as he gives the soft rock veterans a distinctive new look. Locked-down bandmates Andy Dunlop, Dougie Payne, and Neil Primrose are represented by comedy ghosts - under white sheets with eye holes. Lyrically, ‘A Ghost’ brims with optimism ("It’s easier to be alive/Than hide under your pillow/While your life is passing you by"). Healy’s spectral visuals are witty, playful, and, above all, invigorating.
