Everyone's a winner.

The Sun: “Euros” - 60s

"Dad, what's the Euros?" That's the premise of this affable and well-cast piece of work for The Sun promoting the 2020 European Championship.

Summer staples like a wall chart and bunting are present and accounted for, while a glimpse of the newspaper's online fantasy football game shows how technology has changed the tournament preamble. Alas, Sun Bets never got the chance to make its Euros debut.

Nor is there any mention of the competition's lowlights (at least, for England fans), including defeats by Iceland in 2016 and Romania in 2000. What the kids don't know won't hurt them, we suppose.
