Little Simz: “Introvert” - 6 mins 01s

Little Simz's latest track 'Introvert' is a sweeping, six-minute piece which blends orchestral flair with electronic beats and ever-evolving lyrical subject matter. The accompanying promo from director Salomon Ligthelm is equally expansive, as it encompasses protest footage, dance sequences, and pointed political commentary. Fans of FKA Twigs epic 'Don't Judge Me' will be riveted.

The Natural History Museum anchors the action decisively, as the camera cuts back to Simz performing amidst the artistic classics of yesteryear. It's a bold statement, suggesting a renaissance of previously unrecognised talent is upon us—young, female, and Black, in Simz's case. This is gripping viewing, and well worth a second watch to absorb all the incidental details.
