Go Get A Tattoo

by Syd Briscoe

Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes: “Go Get A Tattoo” - 2 mins 41s

Former Gallows frontman Frank Turner puts in a suitably unhinged performance in this promo with latest band the Rattlesnakes. 'Go Get a Tattoo' references the singer's other career as a skin artist, and encourages listeners to "smash their sadness" and shake of the shackles of inertia by doing something reckless: "It's about time I tried something new/ To stick and poke out my commitment issues".

The irreverent promo features a turn from self-proclaimed 'alt-pop gimp' Lynks, who writhes in a bathtub decked out in latex while a bloke has seemingly the worst trip of his life. Director Thomas Davis uses VFX flares and surreal lighting to ensure this film is just as bold and brash as the track it accompanies, kicking through audiences' eyes and ears with equal vehemence.
