Chefs in Schools: “Do You Give a Sausage” - 75s

A well-picked young cast front this amiable communication for Chefs in Schools, who assure viewers that the fight for decent school meals is far from over. Media attention has moved on since Marcus Rashford's public and extremely justified shaming of the government over child poverty and hunger, but this campaign aims to turn the spotlight back onto the still very pressing issue.

Director Korrie Powell has done well with his subjects here, coaxing natural performances from the kids who are chock-full of personality while managing to stay on script...for the most part. A pair of little mates indignantly responding to an interruption ("We're doing a movie!") provides a choice moment of levity.
