Balenciaga: “Simpsons Fashion Week” - 10 mins

The Simpsons may not have the same cultural clout that it used to, but, judging by the reaction to this Balenciaga commercial, America's first family can still pull a crowd. When Homer asks the Spanish fashion label for help on Marge's birthday, it inspires creative director Demna Gvasalia to make over the most depressing city in America.

From self-aware gags about overpriced garments to yet another rake in the face of Sideshow Bob, it's a breezy ten-minute episode that brims with heart, wit, and ridiculous designer clothes. Paris Fashion Week may be an open goal for joke writers, but they also seize the chance to let side characters like Waylon Smithers express themselves like never before.
