Audi: “A Pleasure to Follow” - 60s

Audi announce the launch of their R8 model with this high speed city caper. Ably shot by Sam Brown, the film documents the hijinks which ensue as a colourful cast of characters vie for pole position behind the snazzy new vehicle.

From tourists in taxis and gormless teens to garbage trucks and delivery truck drivers the pursuit vehicles are meticulously designed to elicit a laugh despite the viewer getting only a brief glimpse of each.

Meanwhile, a cover of The Carpenters's 'Close to You' provides a dreamy soundtrack - its laid back vibe contrasting nicely with the on-screen action. Lovely work which is sure to intrigue petrol heads and casual car lovers alike.
