The daughter of a music editor and an editorial cartoonist, Nadia grew up in Copenhagen surrounded by art and music. After spending a year in Paris, and later studying at Chelsea Art School, she was accepted onto the Central St Martins Graphic Design Course.

Her interest in human stories led her from illustration to photography, and then to filmmaking. Nadia was mentored by Chris Palmer for several years before making her first work as a director; a 40 minute film album collaboration by The Pony Tales titled Black Summer.

Since then, Nadia has directed promos for Rae Morris, The 1975, Maverick Sabre and Years and Years, as well as several collaborations with Naughty Boy & Emeli Sande.

Cameras are back in fashion just in time for Christmas, and Canon tap into the trend with this stylish ad for their mobile picture printer. The visual effects are impressive here, especially considering they were done mainly, er, in-camera, but the music-box soundtrack seems to imply there's a sinister story behind the freeze-frame.
