Alicia MacDonald

Alicia MacDonald got her start in the industry as assistant to various directors including Kevin Macdonald, Mike Leigh, and Justin Kurzel.

Her debut short film 'Otherwise England' premiered in 2015, playing at numerous film festivals and receiving a positive response online. Alicia continues to direct comedy and satire, including the excellent film 'Domestic Policy' for Film London.

Cathedral City
"Karen the Cow"
This quirky commercial answers the question, "Where does cheddar come from?" For those in a hurry, the short answer is Cathedral City. Everyone else can enjoy the long answer that's given by a cow instead: a tale of earthworms, water beds, master cheese grader Mark Pitts-Tucker. We like the brief glimpse of a bovine car wash part-way through.
