Stuart Douglas

Stuart Douglas started out taking photos with his brother, and their unique style as a duo quickly led to work for The Face and the New York Times Magazine.

When Douglas branched out on his own, he became a prolific director of commercials, shooting spots for global brands and picking up awards left, right and centre. Plus just for good measure, he's a founder of Nice Shirt Films with Jon Hollis and Richard Martin... well, they do say that if you want something doing, ask a busy person.

"Ronnie Wood: Hell of a Racket"
DAVID first caught wind of this documentary about Ronnie Wood back in 2015. Five years later, director Stuart Douglas’s tasteful profile of a rock 'n' roll legend is here for readers to enjoy. Filmed in his Barcelona apartment, the piece focuses on Wood’s artistic pursuits as he draws, paints, and sculpts with “music in the air”. The only substance he abuses nowadays seemingly is oil paint.
