As well as publishing a variety of essays and articles, Russell's film credits include animated series How the World Went Mad and documentary feature 'Freedom For The Wolf'.

This instalment of HSBC's latest campaign focuses on the anxiety of LGBT people who fear being outed. Rupert Russellís film features a young man discussing the strategies he uses to hide his gender non-conformity when in the hyper-masculine environment of a barbershop, using smart close-ups to highlight his physical and mental strain.
