Ford are the latest brand to whisk viewers away to a virtual-reality playground, as a bloke picks a Kuga plug-in hybrid from the car select screen. A brief shot of a sun-kissed beach evokes 'Grand Theft Auto: Vice City', followed by yet another futuristic metropolis bathed in the glow from neon signs. It's a flashy trip, but lacks real-world heft.
