Jono Hunter

Jono Hunter is a director, writer and master of performance, and his work showcases his own unique brand of hyper-real comedy.

He won great acclaim in 2015 for his dissection of all things cinema in the funny Academy Of Cliché spot for the Canadian Film Fest, and online plaudits for his brilliantly bonkers Toronto Public Health condom ad.

WORK:
Pizza Pops
"What a Time to Be Weird"
Canadian snack brand Pizza Pops encourage us to embrace our inner oddball... and give an extremely astute rundown of how popular culture has changed over the last few decades in the process. From traditionally nerdy hobbies entering the mainstream to fandom engagement becoming damn near acceptable, this short film highlights all the ways that being 'weird' is now, well, not weird.
