Part of editing house Stitch, Homespun is dedicated specifically to editing music videos and short films. This is because the company feels it's important to treat them as more than side projects; to give them the same time and care that is given to commercials.

It's an excellent philosophy both in theory and in practise. It gives emerging talent – both inside and outside Homespun – the opportunity to experiment and explore; experienced talent to share; and introduces new ideas that keep minds sharp and fresh.

"Dinner at the Smyths'"
Co-directors Ashley Hamilton and Bex Conyngham-Hynes's script lands a young man called Tom up to his neck when he visits his girlfriend Pandora's family home to meet her parents. Cockily telling her that he's good at this sort of thing, he finds himself out of his depth when he discovers that dad is a Minotaur, and mum is a mermaid.
