gootgotneed is a rare breed of production company in that it's built around the directing talents of its two co-founders and they're planning to keep a lid on the size of the operation. Instead Will Innes Smith and Adam Wells's ambition is focussed on how their adaptable skills can execute any project that comes their way. As happy to work separately as a duo, the pair promise that their combined experience enables them to provide the solution regardless of the challenge. http://www.gotgotneed.com/ |

Short Films "Shemira" Shemira, we're told, refers to the Jewish ritual of watching over the body of a deceased person from the time of death until burial. In director Adam Wells's sensitively made short film, this solemn duty falls to a man called Myer Orlovitz (played by John Rhys-Davies), who muses wistfully on war, memory, and love throughout the night.
