Freefolk |
|
An acclaimed post production company, Freefolk set up shop in 2003 as Finish; changing its name in 2016 when it branched out and opened a second office... this time in New York. Regardless of its moniker, the level of service provided has been first class from the start. The artistry, input and continuity on any given project mean clients have come to trust and rely on the Freefolk team - and of course, that's what any company ultimately wants. http://freefolk.com |

The Booker Prize "Glory" Nikki Amuka-Bird reads a passage from the sixth and final Booker Prize nominee, Glory by NoViolet Bulawayo. Like a Zimbabwean Animal Farm, the novel uses animals to explore human foibles. Thus, Bird describes the Father of the Nation's arrival with absurd regard: "His mere presence in any space automatically rearranged the atoms in the air". (Good as Amuka-Bird's performance is, it is seriously rivalled by Chipo Chung's fantastic reading in the audio book version.)
