Fanny Hoetzeneder

With an Austrian father, a French mother and a British step-father, Fanny Hoetzeneder had the benefit of a wide range of cultural influences as she grew up in a quiet town called Belleville in the French countryside.

Hoetzeneder has developed a polished documentary approach influenced by photographer Gregory Crewdson, and she combines urban landscapes with portrait-style attention to detail.

WORK:
Crédit Agricole
"Grace Through Sport"
FIFA Women's World Cup sponsors Crédit Agricole encourage girls to play the long game in this proactive ad directed by Fanny Hoetzeneder. As the tournament draws to a close, the bank show how skills honed at a young age through sport - whether it's football or not - can be invaluable in later life. This is illustrated by a diverse cast of youngsters describing what they have achieved as adults while still playing in the junior leagues.
