Dog Eat Dog sign Iain Morris.

by Syd Briscoe

Dog Eat Dog have signed acclaimed comedy writer and director Iain Morris to their roster.

A multi-talented creative best known for his zeitgeist-capturing film and television work, Morris has been a standout figure in the UK comedy scene since the early 00s. He joins Dog Eat Dog for representation in the UK, Germany, and the USA - bringing his punchy, quick-witted work to an international audience.

Morris is a master of overseeing the casting process to ensure each script comes to life, and is best known for his work on cultural mainstay and eternal teenage favourite sitcom 'The Inbetweeners'. With several seasons and two spin-off movies to its name, the title demonstrates Morris's undeniable aptitude for creating loveable characters which stand the test of time.

We are thrilled to welcome Iain. He is one of the freshest, funniest writer/directors in the business.

Morris takes a collaborative approach to his projects, allowing actors to play in the space and direct comedy as it flows naturally. It's an approach which will be welcomed as he moves into the world of advertising - something the team at Dog Eat Dog are eager to get going as soon as possible.

"We are shooting with Iain straight off the bat," Phil McCluney, Dog Eat Dog's London EP explains, "so we're off to a great start in 2021." Co-founder Mark O’Sullivan adds: "We are thrilled to welcome Iain. He is one of the freshest, funniest writer/directors in the business."
