Back Again

by Andrew MacGregor

You Me at Six: “Back Again” - 3 mins 08s

Pop-tinged rockers You Me at Six reveal a hitherto unknown appreciation for ‘The Big Lebowski' in this video for ‘Back Again'. Set in Harringay's Rowans bowling alley, the promo sees bandmates Josh, Chris, Max, Matt, and Dan cosplay as some of the film's key players.

Rather than cram the Coen brothers' hazy-noir plot into three-and-a-bit minutes, however, director Daniel Broadley chucks the Dude, Walter, Jesus Quintana and co. into a dognapping caper instead… with record label-pleasing shots of the band in regular garb into the bargain.

Even if the group's lane etiquette merits a Walter-level rebuke, their takes on some of the movie's alley-based japes (a fine display of ball polishing from Matt and Dan) provide cinematic mirth against an equally blithe guitar track.
