The Glenlivet: Starry, starry night.

by Andrew MacGregor

The Glenlivet: “Night Sky” - 60s

The Glenlivet riff on their decisive name in one of two fetching commercials. While this lot enjoy a late night swim, clear skies reveal dazzling constellations. No wonder the VO insists “this is the night sky.” One is unlikely to see such ethereal skies on a regular basis - why not toast the occasion with a dram?

With blended whiskies upping their advertising game, single malts like The Glenlivet must persuade drinkers to stick with their more refined offer. Thanks to restful and beguiling photography, Martin de Thurah conveys the Speyside whisky’s high standards.
