Shared Intimacy

by Andrew MacGregor

Tena: “Intimacy” - 4 mins 06s

This, ahem, free-flowing piece of branded content stars three women determined to flip the script on incontinence. Addressing both the camera and each other, the trio make light of awkward sexual encounters and romantic mishaps in a bid to normalise bladder weakness - something Tena has previously attempted with mixed results.

The frankness has genuine charm and seems likely to appeal to the target audience. The performers all have enough charisma to see off any sense of embarrassment associated with a subject that many still see as taboo. All in all, it's a brilliantly mature piece of film, and representative of the approach we'd like to see more often in this sector.
