Sew sister.

Smart Energy GB: “Sewing Machine” - 30s

A woman turns her home into an upholsterer's wet dream in this 30" plug for Smart Energy GB. Emboldened by the money saved by switching to a smart meter, the one-woman sewing bee proceeds to turn her living room into a burnt orange silk extravaganza - even coating her boyfriend, the cat, and the ceiling fan in the stuff.

The inter-species cast's wordless exchange - all bemused glances and manic smiles from behind the sewing machine - is well-played, complemented by a funk-lite soundtrack and some ostentatious set design. May just inspire a boon in cat waistcoat sales before Christmas, too.
