Cuckoo Land Comfort

by Syd Briscoe

Sloggi: “Cloud Nine” - 40s

A woman travels into a fantasy realm of comfort in this entertaining outing for Sloggi. The comfy underwear specialists turn the spotlight on their new Oxygene bra - a garment so mind-blowingly light it apparently sends wearers into a candy-coloured reverie.

The styling is on point throughout this film, from the central character's quirky graphic eyeliner and Doc Martens fashion combo to cloud-covered nails through which video game-style unicorns frolic. Style and substance, it seems, can co-exist after all.

With a self-consciously artsy flair, a deft mixture of live-action and animation, and a lovely sense of visual humour throughout, this is a typically upbeat and feelings-focused addition to the Sloggi canon. There are even sentient bras thrown into the mix for good measure.
