Ryan WHO?

by Syd Briscoe

PSA: “The Ryan Gosling Social Distancing Scale” - 1 min 53s

This entertaining explanation of proper physical distancing demonstrates that not all PSAs have to be doom and gloom. Director Simon Cole’s film takes the form of an old-school science experiment, complete with lab coats and obscure graphs, as scientists attempt to find the perfect unit of measurement to ensure the public stay six-feet apart from each other.

That unit, as it turns out, is none other than Ryan Gosling. A cardboard cut-out of the actor takes a trip into the field for further experiments, providing amusing yet informative examples of what social distancing should look like. This film strikes the jovial, retro tone just right, and manages to find humour in the grim reality of pandemic life.
