Lego: “Drive What You Love” - 52s

This Lego ad provides a welcome jolt to the system amidst a glut of commercials that are well-meaning but samey by necessity. Tapping into a desire to hit the road and somehow leave coronavirus in the dust, the ad sees various high-performance vehicles roar into life and tackle a distinctly homey race track.

Bolstered by some well-tuned sound design and a few choice cuts to the driverís seat, the film makes a compelling case for the brandís Technic fleet. As much of the target audience remain cooped up indoors, itís also a shrewd reminder that even the most mundane setting can host something spectacular.
