Land Rover Range Rover - Speed Bump

by Andrew MacGregor

Land Rover Range Rover: “Speed Bump” - 80s

This online film for Range Rover sees their Evoque 4x4 tackle its greatest foe: a one-and-a-half metre-high speed bump. While runners and cyclists attack it with gusto, motorists are naturally wary. It helps if you're driving a sturdy SUV, of course. Bemused pedestrians and some impressive wheel work ensure a fun spin on roadworks.

It's garnered a healthy four million views on YouTube, with many of those commenting beneath offering their respect for the advertised vehicle in a space normally dominate by snark. With so many online films falling short when it comes to the metrics, this has to count as a resounding success and it shows that you can provoke a decent outcome if you get the formula right.
