Eurostar: “Punk” - 30s

We imagine it will become increasingly rare to see positive depictions of London from a European point of view in future, so this 30” commercial for Eurostar may serve as an affectionate send-off for the capital. It's fitting, then, that the brand's feathery spokes-ostrich attends an exhibition focused on London's punk heritage - celebrating a period of unparalleled creative rebellion.

The action unfolds with a knowingly affectionate tone here, as the exhibition itself is explored before MPC’s computer-generated bird takes on the punk spirit in the slightest way. It's also a charming look at how art can inspire the next generation, and we particularly enjoy the ostrich's determined expression as it refuses to (literally) toe the line.
