Easy Life: “Nightmares” - 1 min 54s

Easy Life aren't, er, easy to categorise. What is obvious, though, is that they're a very talented bunch indeed. Hailing from Leicester, they manage to incorporate all kinds of different musical influences into their sound and the result - far from being a confused mess - is gloriously catchy and multi-layered.

Greg Barthes's promo for their single 'Nightmares' captures the band's strange charm. Taking an endless trundle down a hospital corridor is lead singer Murray, who's been torpedoed in the head but is still able to lament the fact that no-one pays his fears much attention.

With cameos from Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag's infamous Bus Rodent) and Arnab Chanda, things take a turn for the surreal early on; becoming increasingly weird as things progress. Stray organs, cartoon interventions and a parade of oddballs assault the sensibilities of both us and the injured Murray - who takes in all in his stride. Well, his wheelchair, anyway.
