Die Atzen: “Ballern” - 2 mins 35s

German hip-hop duo Die Atzen prove they don't take themselves too seriously with latest single 'Ballern'. The track - whose title means to engage in an activity with gusto - is accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek promo which features Eurotrash fashion, Stepford-style families, and, erm, head exploding heads.

The pair's deadpan delivery suits the beat-driven track, which skirts the line of parody while turning out to be a pretty solid club banger. Bothering the neighbours isn't high on their priority list... that is, until they decide to weaponize the volume of their speakers.

However, it's when their antisocial behaviour turns into all-out sonic terrorism that the promo kicks up a gear. We won't spoil the ending, but needless to say riot gear isn't as effective against hefty beats as it is other weapons. Silly, summery fun.
