The school of life.

by Andrew MacGregor

Department for Education: “Tuesday” - 1 min 55s

Havas London and directing duo thirtytwo are once again tasked with inspiring the next generation of teachers, and the result is another warm, albeit stress-free look at the profession. While 2018ís film centred on one girlís progress from primary to secondary school, the cameraís now trained on a young teacher who tests both himself and his pupils.

Itís hard not to be swept along by his daily routine, as the snappily edited film darts between the curriculum and more intimate moments. Even if the piece glosses over some of the difficulties faced by new and experienced teachers alike, there are still school grounds for optimism (if youíll pardon the pun).
