DHL: “The Tour Before The Tour” - 60s

To celebrate their sponsorship of Bryan Adams's upcoming 'Shine a Light' world tour, DHL have decided to show customers exactly what goes into getting everything to the right place at the right time - in this case, a custom guitar.

From a famous thumb placing an order to the instrument being constructed with love and care before being shipped, every detail of the new guitar's journey is forensically documented by director Scott Lyon.

Well-tuned sound design also plays a big part here, as do some neat visual nods (we caught that five and dime) which clue the audience in to who the final recipient might be. The ending blast of 'Summer of '69' seals the deal, delivering the requisite jolt for fans of middle-of-the-road rock.
