Co-op Supermarkets: “Round for Christmas” - 30s

As punters finalise their Christmas viewing plans, the Co-op tackle one of the festive season's most divisive posers: "Is Die Hard a Christmas film?" Whether John McClane's exploits in Nakatomi Plaza count as festive fare is a matter for debate, and this 30" ad should compel viewers to argue their respective cases.

The set-up is typical enough: a group of friends sit around eating nibbles before launching into a game of charades. However, it's the describer's commitment to his craft that stands out, as he reveals his own McClane-chic undershirt.

Not to be outdone by a bloke shouting "Yippee ki-yay" in a vest, director Gus Filgate delivers another batch of lively food shots that should draw party food buffs to their local Co-op branch.
