Found Family

by Syd Briscoe

Compare The Market: “No Place to Call Home” - 60s

Sergei and Aleksandr continue to break ground as an iconic animated couple in this touching outing for Compare the Market. The latest campaign sees previously adopted son Oleg, plus his friend Ayana, trying to find a home in San Francisco when their village is destroyed by deforestation.

Opening on such a sombre note, it's no surprise that the furry pair find themselves out of luck during their trip to the big city - at least, until a twist of fate sees their despair becoming the very thing that brings the lost family together.

From using heavily-accented catchphrases to hawk promotional soft toys to following narrative lines which address environmental concerns and blended families, this is a campaign which has truly grown and changed with the times.
