Insurance Fraud

by Syd Briscoe

Aviva: “Disguise” - 30s

Aviva announce their intention to treat their existing customers just as favourably as new ones with this amusing ad. The 30" commercial sees a bloke try to pass himself off as a new customer in order to get the good deals and perks commonly used to entice them... but his, ahem, disguise isn't quite up to snuff.

Strong production design gives the whole interaction a Bond villain vibe, from the ominous location to the insurance salesman's totalitarian outfit. Having the customer dragged away by typical-looking fascist goons while an alarm blares is a nice touch, too.
