Laugh, she nearly died

Audible: “Laughing” - 30s

This entertaining ad for Audible shows two women laughing under very different circumstances. One is amused by a hilarious audiobook, the other is finding it a little more difficult to force out the chuckles...

It's a compelling way to highlight the service's range of comedy books, and a departure from previous ads which have focused on drama. The classical soundtrack is well chosen, providing a counterpoint to the antics onscreen.

While dramatic readings can skirt dangerously close to being overblown, the performances here are lovely - a great contrast between genuine laughter of one and the other's eyes pleading for an end to her suffering. Carpooling on the commute may be better for the environment, but not so good for your sanity.
