Cris Wiegandt

Berlin-based Cris Wiegandt is an animation director and designer who creates fantastical worlds which reach far beyond the everyday.

Specialising in paper creations, her dedication to detail is phenomenal. Cris also has an astonishing ability to bring her fragile objects and people to life via stop motion; and her work is informed by the sheer richness of the different cultures she encounters.

WORK:
Ben & Jerry's
"Harvest"
This charming ad introduces Ben & Jerry's latest 'topped' incarnation. Using pristine stop-motion animation, director Chris Wiegandt shows ingredients growing from a paper tree - the combination of brownie, caramel, and fudge coming together to form the new ice cream. It's an eye-catching way to launch the flavour, sure to grab sugar-lovers' attention.
