Amelia Hashemi

Award-winning director and writer Amelia Hashemi has a background in casting and specialises in performance-based work.

Her debut short film 'Donít Blame Us Cos We're Famous!' premiered at the London Short Film Festival in 2014, and went on to win Best UK Short at the East End Film Festival. Amelia's acclaimed spots for Volkswagen demonstrate her ability to draw the humanity out of everyday situations.

VW Motability
"Brother and Sister"
Amelia Hashemi's latest film for VW Motability depicts a sibling bond that takes a little time to thaw. A girl is disappointed when her older brother arrives to pick her up from a birthday party. Her attitude seems a tad harsh, though his choice of music leaves a lot to be desired. Brother knows best though - all it takes is some seagull trivia and ice cream to get things back on track.
