Declan Lowney

Declan's achievements in television put him in the very top tier of TV comedy and drama. Not only was he responsible for two series of the enduringly brilliant Father Ted and Little Britain, he also directed the pilot episode of 'Cold Feet', a genre-defying television phenomenon that proved one of the most popular programmes of all time.

More recently, he directed the critically acclaimed comedy Alpha Papa, which had Steve Coogan taking his Alan Partridge character into cinemas for the first time.

"Stellar Rescue"
This faithful recreation of Red Dwarf is bound to appeal to the classic comedy's legion of loyal fans. Director Declan Lowney knows his way around a sitcom script and wisely ensures that this minute long film hits all the right notes.
