Austen Humphries

After spying on directors for many years during his tenure as a producer at The Mill, Austen Humphries decided to turn his back on VFX and give film production a crack instead.

And since his sister is Ringan Ledwidge's producer and Ringan himself is one of his best mates, it was obvious where he should go to ply his trade.

He's rewarded the faith shown in him with a solid body of work demonstrating an ability to deliver a variety of directorial styles. On such a strong roster, Humphries has had to bide his time but there are clear signs that he's making his way up the pecking order.

"Amazing Girl"
Following hot on the heels of Aldi's stair-surfing stunt mum and flexible farmer comes this youngster, making her debut outing on a bike sans stabilisers. To dad's amazement she not only doesn't fall off but turns out to be a one precocious pedaller. However, her mum is distracted by something else that's amazing and misses her progeny's feats. Slickly done.
