The very sober-looking website feels a million miles away from the agency that burst onto the ad scene back in 1970. But really, it's just grown up. While Saatchi & Saatchi's philosophy is still 'Nothing Is Impossible', it's more down to decades of expertise than the brash bravado of youth. John Lewis "Snapper" There is always a lot of anticipation ahead of a new John Lewis Christmas commercial, but more so this year as the industry has been keen to see what changes would be wrought by the switch from adam&eveDDB to Saatchi & Saatchi. And the answer is... not a lot. Which is to say, 2023's ad is a worthy addition to the canon of work established by John Lewis's previous agency.
