McCann Manchester

With 370 people employed at its 9-acre site, McCann Manchester is one of the most significant agencies outside London.

It's intelligently run and the calibre of the creative is consistently strong - the way it has repositioned discount supermarket Aldi and changed the shopping landscape as a result is testament to this. This is an agency that thinks big, and has the wherewithal to live up to its ambitions.

WORK:
Aldi
"Charlie"
The war of the chocolate dogs between Aldi and Marks & Spencer is underway! First out of the traps is Charlie the Chocolate Labrador, who comes to life just in time for Easter (even Jesus Christ would do a double take). A young girl tries to take a bite out of him, but Charlie gets a reprieve until after dinner at least.
