M J Delaney

MJ Delaney's first break came when she directed a spoof music promo inspired by Jay Z's 'Empire State of Mind'. 'Newport State of Mind' became one of the viral hits of 2010, and led to work directing what became a hugely successful Aldi campaign.

Delaney has since directed spots for many global brands, from beauty to household. Her first feature film 'Powder Room' was picked up for worldwide release by Universal Pictures.

TransPennine Express
"Anything You Can Do"
A little burst of 'Anything You Can Do' accompanies a series of people from the destinations available to travellers using the TransPennine Express in this bright commercial for the railway that crosses the northern half of Great Britain. The participants are a varied lot and director M J Delaney and her editor Rebecca Luff have stitched it together neatly to create a fun sense of the places within the franchise's reach.
