Lucky Generals

Lucky Generals describe themselves as “a creative company for people on a mission”, a statement they neatly deconstruct.

'Creative company' means creative in attitude, not merely in advertising. 'For people' is a reminder that messages are still for humans, not technology. And 'on a mission' describes their single-minded focus to make an impact. In the few years since their launch in 2013, they've achieved this and then some.

WORK:
Make My Money Matter
"Oblivia Coalman"
Ubiquitous actor Olivia Colman plays an alter ego called Oblivia Coalman in this satire designed to draw attention to the way our pension money is being used to fuel the climate crisis. Director Raine Allen-Miller seems to have encouraged her star to hit pantomime levels of villainy and Mekel Bailey's costume design makes it look as though Colman is preparing to do something beastly and vaguely sexual with at least 101 Dalmatians.
