Justin Anderson

Justin Anderson won the John Ruskin prize at the Slade School of Fine Art before continuing his studies in Amsterdam, where he started to experiment with video.

From there, he returned to London and briefly worked in advertising. It was after this that he moved to a shared studio with fashion designer Flora McClean, and began directing short films and commercials for fashion labels and household brands worldwide.

WORK:
Schweppes
"Grape"
When a couple reach for the same bottle of Schweppes in a supermarket, it sets off a decidedly electric reaction. In the filmic stream of consciousness which it provokes, it becomes clear that they share more than a fondness for the advertised drink! The Japanese have always done things their own way when it comes to advertising and this offers further proof of their commitment to their own idiosyncrasies.
