Darling Films

Darling Films was founded in 2018 when Bare Films was closed and two-thirds of the roster trekked across Oxford Street with Clare Timms to form a new company.

RSA offered them a haven in their building, and the two companies are able to share resources while maintaining separate identities. In 2018, Darling became the UK representatives for US production company Hey Wonderful, further extending an already comprehensive offer.

International Women's Day
"Resilience Resides"
Spaniard Irene Baqué directs this lyrical piece of work for International Women's Day. Narrated by poets the Che sisters, the film welcomes viewers into a place where "sisterhood surrounds" and women "bow in tribute to our power". The layered voiceover makes some lines hard to grasp, but the rhythm sweeps you along regardless.
