Cinelab London

Cinelab offers a range of services built around the idea that there is no better medium for 'film' than film itself. But they are more than just a film processing lab, they provide a level of service which is designed to ensure every customer maximises the benefits of shooting on film.

Their expertise extends to converting to and from digital formats, and restoration of archive film. Their dedication is manifest and while it may seem counter-intuitive to turn to film when the whole world appears to have gone digital, once you've heard them make the case for it, you'll understand why so many high profile films and TVCs have taken advantage of what it can deliver.

WORK:
Sludge
"Blacksmith"
Hardcore electronic band Sludge get a frenetic promo for their debut track, courtesy of Kenneth Karlstad. With its 90s VHS-style aesthetic and psychoholic skinheads it paints a bleak picture of an Eastern Bloc world where violence rules and victims are initiated into a warped, disorientating reality. Unsettling, original work that doesn't shy away from the track's viscerality.
