Amy Nicholson

New York-based documentary-maker Amy Nicholson has a keen eye for capturing the lives of eccentric people who have no notion of their own strangeness.

Her short films 'Beauty School' and 'Pickle' sit alongside her feature-length documentaries 'Muskrat Lovely' and 'Zipper: Coney Island's Last Wild Ride' as sparkling examples. Between them her films have won many prizes on the festival circuit and with advertising clients growing ever more interested in the authenticity of the documentary approach, Nicholson's ability to deliver quirky but believable content is an obvious asset.
