McLaren "Performance Amplified" Whatever the electric car equivalent of a 'petrol head' is, this ad is designed to appeal to them. Or, at the very least, to make petrol heads less contemptuous of electric cars. The vehicle at the centre of this film is driven in a fashion that certainly wouldn't be allowed to be seen in a TVC, and director Al Clark appears to have made it on the basis that McLaren might as well be hung for a sheep as a lamb... and he's really ramped up the irresponsibility.
