More ammunition at Great Guns.

by Andrew MacGregor

Great Guns have added directors Rollo Hollins and Chris Neal to their international roster. Hollins and Neal offer strength in numbers. While Hollins maintains a healthy London presence, Neal works all over the United States. Great Guns are confident both will go the distance as filmmakers.

Let's learn more about the two individually...

1. Rollo Hollins

Hollins began as a cinematographer before switching to the director's chair. Such experience behind the camera ensured a smooth transition. He's been in demand ever since.

Hollins's transatlantic exploits have produced a diverse showreel, shifting between short and longform work. For instance, Hollins became the envy of Formula One drivers worldwide by covering Lewis Hamilton in printer ink.

Such artistic work caught Great Guns's attention. Hollins relishes the opportunity: "I'm really honoured to be joining the roster at Great Guns. We're working in very exciting times with an audience that's hungry and incredibly fucking clever.

"I want to make work that continuously adapts and surprises them - sharper, bolder, and more emotionally challenging films - and I think Great Guns is the best place for me to do that. I can't wait to see what we'll make together."

2. Chris Neal

Armed with a marketing degree and a documentary approach, Neal juggles branded work with short films and personal projects. He's a keen learner, too - sharpening his technical skills between shoots.

Neal's 2017 short film ‘Weight' is already a strong calling card. Examining a high school wrestler's battles on and off the mat, the piece blends stylish camerawork and raw physicality with gusto.

Neal appreciates his new home's support: "I'm beyond excited to join Great Guns. They truly understand and value my creative style. I can't wait to develop and grow alongside the best in the industry!

"I also love that they see potential and value young talent. The directors whose careers they've built up over the years are testament to that. I'm stoked to join the team and to push my own work and creativity."
